ABOUT

The Stacyville Brat Trot is a 4.2 mile Fun Run/Walk/trot around the outskirts of Stacyville, Iowa, kicking off the town's annual Bratwurst Daze Celebration. Each year, 100% of the proceeds from the Brat Trot are donated to a community driven effort in the town of stacyville, IOWA.

the brat trot prides itself on hometown. we are a casual bunch, and know how to appreciate a good walk-about to kick off a weekend. meet friends old and new, young and younger, happy and happier; just don't expect a race number and a medal. your reward is a brat (with or without sauerkraut) and maybe a beer or two. *available at the concession stand

the finish line and time is kept by a real stacyville grandma, so don't expect your personal record to the .001, but rather a "looking good!"

HISTORY

What started as a 4-h passion project, has become a beloved tradition in the stacyville community. since 1998, the brat trot has given over $100,000 back to the betterment of the community. with over twenty years of sponsorship, participation, and a total of 84 miles trotted around stacyville, we're having more fun than ever.
